About Us
We began life conceptually back in 2002. Having completed a Bachelor of Arts degree at the prestigious Guildford School of Acting, a group of friends teamed up and began to supply ‘mix and mingle’ characters at a couple of events. It offered an insight into the world of Corporate and Private Entertainment that we hadn’t seen before. It also gave an opportunity for our friends to earn money in-between acting jobs.
It was after we were contacted by a large Event Company to produce their Murder Mysteries for them, that we began to look seriously at developing great products for the event industry. By 2004 we were supplying a number of the country’s top event organisers with Performers and bespoke acts. The Rock ‘n Roll Waiters began as simple ‘comedy waiters’ and it took years to develop them to the class act they are now. Over the years we have built up a great product base and a fantastic pool of exceptional performers.
The biggest change came in 2007 when we were approached by one of the worlds leading formula one teams to supply hosts and comperes for them, both at the head quarters and also at F1 races around the globe. This contract necessitated us to use not only our skills as natural communicators and performers, but also to operate under the most stringent of Corporate Environments. Under the ever watchful eye of senior personnel we have learned many new skills and our personal standards have risen to a level which we feel are quite unique in this industry.
We believe we have always had the best performers, but through our exacting work with one of the worlds leading formula one teams we now also have performers who are very capable of judging, with great finesse, the finer details of any performance, to suit any client. From entertaining twelve High Court judges at Lincoln's Inn, to huge staff parties - from cleaners to directors, we make sure one and all are equally satisfied.
2010 is an important year for Verbal Entertainment it sees the launch of our new website, and also the release of many new products, some of which have been in the making for a number of years now. We look to 2010 to strengthen our contracts with our current clients, and to grow our customer base even further.
It has been a fascinating and exciting journey so far. We are here to produce the finest performances, not just in this country, but in the world.
